Vigo and the curious case of the birthday

So Vigo, it looked lovely (wet), from the balcony!

We decided not to go off the ship in Vigo, instead opting to stay on and sample the spa, as it was someone's birthday!

We spent 2 hours in the morning in the thermal suite, which consisted of a small pool, which contained bubble massage seats and waterfalls, a sauna, steam room, salt room, heated stone beds and comfy loungers! The time flew by and we both felt very chilled by the end of it.

After the thermal suite, we both had hot stone massages, which hurt at the time due to the amount of knots but was well worth it!

Only slight downside to the spa is that they can be a little pushy on the products after you have a treatment, they could do with toning that down a bit!

After the spa we sat on the balcony and read our books, with it being a very nice temperature to do so.

At 5 they delivered a birthday cake which had been ordered! And, as you can see, it looked amazing, and tasted even better! This was a dairy free cake which cost £10 but I can say it was worth all the money, being one of the best value things you could get!

In the evening we went to our favourite restaurant, Aqua, and had a lovely meal.

We spent the evening having a couple of drinks and enjoying the ship
Sarah hadn't felt great in the afternoon, so made a great effort in staying up until 10.30!
