Sea days!

So one of the things to consider with these sort of cruises is the Bay of Biscay, which can be very choppy!

Saying that, as our cabin is on deck 5, the rolling around of the ship wasn't felt as much as it could be on the upper deck.

We spent the sea days basically just chilling. We didn't sleep amazingly both nights due to it being a new place to sleep and the rolling, but spending a day watching the waves go by and reading was an ideal way to spend it.

On the first sea day we attended afternoon tea in our favourite restaurant, Aqua, which was lovely. Consisted of a number of small sandwiches, cakes and scones, which were all very tasty.

On the second day we again spent it very chill, spending a lot of time on the balcony and finding a nice quiet place to read in the library. This night was also the first formal night, meaning time to dress up! The menu was put together Marco Pierre White and was a 5 course meal.

  1. Looks amazing. I quite enjoyed 12 metre waves on the bay of Biscay 😁
