Day 4 - Sea Day

On our third sea day we awoke quite early but had a relaxing day planned, however as we were awake around 7.30 we decided to get up and head to the Quays for breakfast as we hoped alot of the older crowd wouldn't be up yet. We were right and managed to get a Belgian Waffle with Nutella for C and pancakes with maple syrup and bacon for S. We will pop the menu for the Quays breakfast and also their lunch selection is right up our street and the portions are not too huge either.

We also ate lunch at the Quays, S had Katsu a chicken with steamed rice and C had southern fried chicken and chips. Which was as always excellent.

We also have found all the self service restaurants have hand washing stations which is a lovely touch as if you have had finger food you can properly clean your hands without having to go into the bathrooms.

We had a wander around the promenade deck before heading off to the Spa for a hair cut wash and blow-dry (S) and a pro collagen treatment with beard shave for C. It was a lovely experience and after years of avoiding hair dressers it is safe to say S won't be putting it off again.

After the pampering we spent some time reading our books on the balcony listening to the waves and feeling very relaxed. Then it was time to join a queue for our evening meal at Aqua as we wanted our usual waiter team which we managed. Dinner was excellent as usual and it is absolutely impossible to starve on this ship. We have put some photos of the meal below.

Salmon Gravlax (dairy free version for S)

Pork Collar (dairy free version for S)

Treacle Tart (dairy free version for S)

A selection of C's food from the evening

Asparagus and deviled egg with mayo

Pork collar

Treacle tart! (Not quite as nice as S's...)

After the meal we headed to The Club House to catch the ships party band Pulse perform Summer songs, we ended up sticking around and watching there second set as well!
